Run Report

This weekend was a magnificent milestone for one of our Ronners.

At Eglinton this Saturday Eric Pearson became only the 5th Ron's Runner to complete 250 parkruns! Joining the 250 club requires impressive consistency and real toughness in recovering from setbacks and injuries. He's been a regular at Eglinton parkrun since the inaugural run there in 2013 and has also added Troon, Ayr, Dean Castle and Aviemore to his repertoire. Well done Eric!

It was also the inaugural Skirt the Skeith 12k trail race in Dalry.

With some tempestuous weather just prior to the start, the runners must have wondered what was in store for them. Luckily it calmed down and the runners enjoyed this well organised, hilly route. Of special note was 2nd place by club member James Chalmers who is definitely on form just now.
