Kilmaurs 5K

What a fantastic turnout from our club at Wednesday evening’s Kilmaurs 5K. A sea of yellow vests! Some brilliant times, including some pbs for this race and the sun shone too.☀️

Around Cumbrae 10 miles

Three amigos represented Ron’s Runners in the tough Round Cumbrae 10 miler. Although quite a flat course, as the name suggests, the scenic route goes around the entire circumference of the island meaning you are guaranteed a headwind at some point.

Excellent performance in a competitive field.

Also a super well done to club member John Owens who last weekend participated in Musselburgh 10k. He said it was a very hot morning but a fabulous route along the coast past the lagoons & Levenhall Links with great views across to Fife & a special treat of a well deserved Luca’s ice cream at the finish line. 🍦
